Deviousness |
The composition is really good, the play between the bodies and the white background, the way you managed to only paint the "boring" parts (I'd love to see their faces right now!) and by that making it an exciting painting.
O how the curves and lines and planes draw the eye to the hand only to find itself absorbed in it and just as the fingers unable to grab a hold on what it's feeling. Moving back to the strong and solid shoulder on the left, finding a place to rest and gather strength to cope with the longing of moving back to this alluring chaos at the other side of the canvas.
I'm thinking about the bottom half of the work, not sure what to say about that. It adds another point of rest I think, a place to breathe in and start the journey around the painting all over again.
So I'll give my eyes another ride and go on with the rest of things
